So
a lot of people have been asking me when the site is
going to be updated, when we will loose our old,
tired and low end look and when we are going to
start letting you know more about what is going on
with Daughtry. The answers are...

The truth is I have been very busy and since the
band still hasn't released a second album (which I
am waiting for like all of you) I have not been sure
what to update the site with lately. My
company (Franklin
Spirko Media) however, just hired a great new
web developer named Bobby Wilson. On top of
doing great design work Bobby is also lead singer of
a pretty cool band called Hope Dies Last.
Bobby's band is great and actually pretty edgy and a
bit "harder" in tone then Chris was even
in his Absent Element days.
I think Bobby will do a great job in redesigning
ChrisDaughtryFans.com and we will be making this
site part of our official portfolio so it will start
getting the attention it deserves. Our 30,000
plus members deserve it! By the way check out Bobby's
Bands MySpace Page. If you like hard metal
music you might really enjoy it. He sure has
livened up my office!

Going to be Next?
One
of the biggest questions I keep getting is where can
I go and see Chris next? The best place to
keep up with that is actually Chris' official site
and you can see his upcoming events here
Keep in mind when I set up this site
back during the American Idol days Chris didn't have
an official website. As I move forward I am
looking for things we can bring to fans of Daughtry beyond
what the band puts on their official website.
Things like the video below, remember to let me know
about any special insider information or any cool
things that are not widely known. I will let
our members know about it and cite you as the source
if you want to be mentioned or leave you as anonymous
if you prefer that.
I
really like both of these videos and this is a
perfect example of the stuff I want to start
bringing to members of Chris Daughtry Fans that you
won't find on the official Daughtry Web Site.
This first video is a tribute to our
troops and is something I tried to put together
myself last year. Unfortunately I did not get
enough photos submitted to put together what I was
looking for. That said this video is very cool
and it will quickly show you why so many of our men
and women overseas now consider "Home" and
anythem that speaks to the very heart of what is
most on the minds of our brave men and women, coming
home. The words are so perfect too,
"I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong. I don't
regret this life I chose for me"
As a vet of the First Gulf War I
could not have written a better line to describe how
soldiers feel about doing their duty. It is
almost amazing to me this was written about his time
on Idol because it is a PERFECT way to describe
things from a soldiers eyes. If you don't shed
a tear and feel proud at the same time during this
video, check your pulse.
And now for something completely
different. I found this video by a guy named
Scott Matthews who is an amazing shot gun exhibition
shooter. Scott does things with a shot gun I
did not even know were possible, back ground music
is "It's Not Over".
If

been commercialized is really a direct outcome of
that. It was just built to be a cool site for
a guy I really liked. In fact another American
Idol season has come and gone and again no new sties
from me on Idol.

sales person my entire life. I did want to
