First I had to move a ton of comments to the Archives cause you guys are just killing the page with comments.  Keep it up let Chris know you love him.  If you posted recently your comments may be in archives 6 and you are posting so fast a FEW may have been lost during the move.  It was not intentional if this happened you can just repost.

Second, We are saddened by this but this is not the end for Chris, come by tomorrow evening everyone and we will be updating the home page of the site and setting up an email list so you guys can hear from us as Chris launches his career. We have no idea why this happened but we know one thing Chris will be the biggest thing to come out of AI. Make sure to come by tomorrow night so you can get on our list once we add it so we can let you know by email when his CDs come out, when his concert launches, etc. We love you Chris and we know you are going to continue to rock America long after many of the shows "winners" have been forgotten.

I think Chris is totally HOT!!! I was amazed when he sang "Suspicious Minds" by Elvis. I am a true Elvis fan and Chris did the song justice!!! I'm so disappointed that Chris is gone. I'm very shocked, too. He was the best AI EVER in my opinion. I liked him from his audition. I told my husband "that guy smokes, he rocks". I don't even think I would have watched AI this year if it wasn't for him! I think he has a huge following and will "make it" farther than the bottom 3!!!!!! And just a comment - I think Chris got ripped off while singing for the last time. He was cut off, but Taylor got to sing his! KEEP ROCKIN CHRIS!!!!!

I am so pissed. I am done watching Idol. Cat sucked, and should have gone. Frankly, Elliott was not that great, either. Chris, I am so sorry you did not win on Idol, but you won a lot of hearts and fans. Your first recording will sell big. I am glad you get to go home to your family, they missed you. I will miss you, too. You are the only reason I watched the show. After Bo lost last year, I was mad, but knew that he made it to the end, and would still go on to record great songs. I cannot even begin to explain how I felt during the end of last night's show. It was horrible. My whole family was freaking out. I do not think that Katharine is a bad singer. However, her performance the night before was weak and terrible, and frankly, she does not hold a candle to Chris. Chris - please stay strong. I am completely devestated and upset and think that the results must be fixed. Anyone can see that you are an amazing and talented singer and are leagues above the others. I think that i finally believe my friends who say that AI is rigged. Clearly Chris and Katherine have the most talent, but if being judged by Tuesday's show it was Katherines worst show ans she should have gone. Honestly you knew that Chris could not be an American Idol, his voice was to ruch, and string, and Rockish, his no compromise attitude (which I loved) could not fit into the AI mold....This will be the last season I ever watch, I think that AI let Chris go, therefore it is not an honest show.

I'm in the 40 something crowd. I'm way past fan obsession and following the star of the moment. I had never watched AI before this season and probably never will again. I was flipping channels one night early in the season and when I got to AI Chris was singing. I was hooked from that point forward. Unbelieveable..... The only thing that could have possibly happened was people just took it for granted that Chris was going to win ( he should have) and they didn't hit the phones hard enough with their votes. I was as shocked as the entire world! I think Chris was more shocked than any of us, you could see it, he couldn't even fake a smile! In disbelief he just stood there, the shock was all over his face. Then to watch the clips from the beginning to the end, he still stood there in total disbelief as we all were in shock. I could see it took all he had to hold back the tears, well my tears rolled down my cheeks as I watched the should have been American Idol sing Suspicious Minds one more time. Then the anger set in.... I was furious with this outcome, I felt it was wrong, wrong, wrong! Chris is so talented, great performer and his eyes are so intense, you can feel his every words. Last night's was my last episode of AI, forever. I agree with the other posters that unless you have a fan base with the cingular text ability there is no way to win, even when you are the best singer EVER to appear on the show. I have no doubt Chris will go very far in the business, he has a truly unique and fabulous voice! Chris, stick to what you do and you WILL be the biggest thing to ever come out of AI. Better yet, you won't be stuck under contract with them and can do your own thing with out their "direction"! I for one will be waiting in line to by your CD! Best of luck!!

Are you kidding me- there is no possible way Chris was voted off. He has been consistant from the start. I was listening to the various morning shows this morning on my way to work and they ALL were discussing the disbelief of Chris getting kicked off. One D.J. said she thought America was bored with Chris and that he just "kept doing the same thing" and Taylor had to work against alot of odds to come that far. All I know is this is the first season I have tuned into this show and probably the last. I don't care who wins now. I mean, I know Chris is going to get a recording contract regardless, but it was SUCH a disappointment. AND If I have to hear that "HAD A BAD DAY" song one more time, my head might explode. Chris, by far, has the most unique and the best voice out of all the idols. Every week, my college house full of 8 girls sat in awe watching Chris on Idol. Chris was the only contestant that we would rewind tivo for... at least 5 times per episode. Evidently Fox is marketing text-message cingular wireless phones, without which you cannot vote. I tried constantly redialing my home "landline" for 2 hours to get through on Chris' numbers & only got through once. Next thing you know, you will have to prove Ford ownership before you can vote. Idol is a crock. Chris, be glad you had some help breaking the chain from them. All you have to do is lock eyes with a camera, place your lips to the microphone, and do your thing. I have watched AI from the beginning and I have studied the judges closely. I have come to this conclusion. When the last 5 finalist compete, alot of the voting results seem to be based on the judges remarks. One in particular. Very rarely will you find any finalist voted off if Simon gives them a realistic review. A critical, but true, review of their talent. If Simon finds fault, the contestant is sure to stay. I believe the fans vote to protect the singer from Simon and try to prove him wrong-not necessarily on talent. My vote is based on one thing. Would I pay to sit through the concert-would I pay for the CD. I found the the votes received by Katherine last night to be "sympathy" votes. I was not surprised by you getting voted off Chris, as I believe that Idol does not want "predictability". Although we can all vote I believe that phone and message lines are purposely "clogged" to prevent the true number of votes from being recored. Any contest based on national voting should provide the proper chanels for results. You offered great diversity Chris-I did not find you alof as some people have stated, but I found you humble and shy. I am DONE with Idol! I had heard at one time that there were "anti-Chris" groups doing everything they could to get him off the show.(Hmmm) Of course, there may not be any truth to it, but SOMETHING definately went wrong with the voting..........everywhere you look and listen regarding Idol - 9 times out of 10, the talk is about Chris or a debate about who will be "second". Chris, One night my husband was channel surfing and I caught a piece of American Idol. When I heard you I picked you as the winner hands down (if you don't have a favorite, why watch). I work in an Emergency Room and when the news came about Chris on the TV, everyone in the waiting area gasped. My family and I tried to get through on his lines last night and they were busy until the last minute. Something had to of gone wrong. How can the only contestant that never had a bad night be off. Chris, I am so very sad and utterly shocked about you leaving AI. You were the reason to watch the show this year. I truely loved the songs you picked for "Elvis" night and as an Elvis fan Suspicious Minds is also my all time favorite song. I loved it and will forever be replaying it on my DVR.
